The Neue Universität Würzburg is easily accessible via the A3 and A7 motorways. Once you reach Würzburg, follow the signs for the city centre and then continue towards Sanderring. The university is centrally located directly adjacent to Ringpark.

There are public parking spaces with parking meters available directly at Sanderring. Please note that the number of spaces is limited.

By Public Transport

From Würzburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):

• Take tram lines 1, 3, 4 or 5 to “Sanderring”. From there, the university is approximately a 3–5-minute walk away.
• Several bus lines also serve stops in the vicinity of the Neue Universität, including lines 17, 470–472, 480, 490–492, 510–512 and 550–555.

Entrances and Orientation

The main entrance is located directly on Sanderring. From there, you can easily access the main staircase and the conference registration desk. Please check in briefly at the registration desk on each day of the conference.

The building has a total of four entrances. Step-free access is available on the north side of the building, at the rear.

The Audimax is located on the first floor and can be reached via the inner courtyard (Lichthof).
